Pomme loved animals in general, she adopted a cheetah in South Africa and I have some lovely photos of her with a koala in Australia. But she had a real soft spot for our faithful four legged friends. She was very attached to Flossie, Helen's old English sheepdog and also had a special bond with our Boxer Poppy, not least because they shared a birthday and also, as it turns out the date they died - 25th February.
